Biography
Peterson Saintilien, known by his stage name Pablo, is a Haitian artist who skillfully blends multiple musical genres. From Compas and Afro to Dancehall, Hip-Hop, and World Music, Pablo creates a rich and diverse sound that appeals to a broad and varied audience.
He started his musical journey at the age of 7 in his church’s children’s choir. Soon after, he continued singing in his neighborhood, where he also began learning beat-making with his friends. After completing his formal education, he pursued his passion for music by moving to Jacmel to study sound engineering at the ARTISTS INSTITUTE. There, he began experimenting with different music groups and artists in the Haitian Music Industry (HMI).
Now, as one of the first artists signed with Apache World Music (AWM), Pablo is proud to represent his music and his country.
He is a versatile artist who blends various musical styles to create a unique sound of his own. His fusion of Compas, Afro, Dancehall, Hip-Hop, and World Music allows him to connect with a wide and diverse audience.
Pablo draws inspiration from Hip-Hop and Dancehall artists from the 2010-2018 era, including Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Migos, Vybz Kartel, Konshens, and Sean Paul.
His songs tackle themes such as love, social issues, and self-expression (egotrip). With deep and introspective lyrics, Pablo has the ability to move his audience and convey emotions through his music.
