Biography

The artist Wilder Jean Pierre, known as Melo, is a promising young talent in the Haitian music scene. With his unique fusion of Compas, Dancehall, Afro, and RnB, he has won the hearts of many fans.

Melo’s musical journey began in church at a young age, where he discovered his passion for music. After completing his formal education, he pursued music studies in Jacmel, all while composing his own songs. During this time, he met Charlin Bateau, who helped him produce his first successful tracks.

With this experience, Melo later met Joseph Zenny Jr. and participated in his first Carnival music project. This collaboration was a turning point in his career, as AWM became a launchpad for his success.

His musical influences include R&B and Afro, inspired by artists like Chris Brown and Davido. His songs explore themes of love, passion, and social issues.

Today, Melo is one of the first signed artists under Apache World Music (AWM), sharing its vision and mission. His goal is to help AWM grow and reach international stages, using his skills and talent to empower other young artists.
